The ingredients

The formulas are enriched with Babassu Oil, Mango, Vitamin E and UV filters.

Babassu oil has Brazilian origins and it is extracted from the nuts of the Babassu palm. Babassu nuts are usually harvested by hand and the production and processing process is very labor-intensive, nevertheless it is the main economic source for locals. Brazilian women called Babassu breakers dedicate themselves to the manual processing of Babassu: they collect the nuts from the ground, break them and eventually extract the oil from the kernel by cold pressing the pulp. These women have created various forms of organizations and cooperatives.

Babassu oil is famous for its emollient power and it’s an excellent after-sun product because it is able to repair the hair even when damaged by salt and exposure to sun rays.
